Green Sister 46

GS shook her head. What was she doing? This was just like Nancy... to put her in a position where she would puzzle over something that didn't matter instead of pursuing the main problem. Where did Nancy have that machine? And, how could they disarm it before it turned the whole world into one big circle?

She pulled herself away from the aroma and focused her attention again on the lights. As before, she was sure that she could figure this out if she could understand the lights. She half-closed her eyes and turned slowly, allowing the pulsing to wash over her. Lee and Mark's voices faded to a low mumble seemingly miles away. The lights engulfed her and the discord seemed to fade. Instead of the lights flashing in various patterns, she realized that they were all part of a whole.

She stood still and breathed deeply. She could feel the blood in her body beginning to pulse in rhythm with the lights.

In a loud whisper, afraid to disturb the cadence she was experiencing, she called Mark and Lee over to her. As they reached her, without a word, she reached out her hands and took their's.

"We need to make a circle, as odd as that sounds," she said, quietly. "Then we will know what to do and how to do it."
